Spread across five buildings, this office campus site required a multi-building voice announcement / tannoy solution to improve site communication and to distribute mass notification audio messages for security and lockdown issues and events.
Our Audio Design
Our brief was to design and install an office campus tannoy system operated from a central control room to make selective ‘zone’ announcements across all five separate buildings.
We specified a DSP/audio router to provide flexible routing of audio to different floor levels throughout the buildings and across the different buildings. The primary input for making announcements using an AoIP based IP Microphone console. Audio distribution ‘intra-building’ via traditional high impedance speaker zone circuits. Audio distribution ‘inter-building’ via AoIP and the customers existing LAN/network infrastructure using Dante AVIO and Dante Controller for network audio routing.
